Astoria Center of Israel
Membership
ACI and Jewish life in Astoria stand on an amazing precipice, a moment in time when we, all of us, can bring energy and enthusiasm to building a Jewish community that meets its potential as the Center approaches its centennial in 2026.
Here’s just some examples of recent and upcoming programming we would love to welcome you to as members of ACI:
High Holiday Services - Make ACI your home for the High Holidays.
Weekly Shabbat Services - Every Saturday morning at 10 AM, followed by a Kiddush of light refreshments; twice monthly Tot Shabbat services (0 to 5 years old); and monthly Junior Congregation.
Weekly Live Streams - We make our services accessible via livestream weekly, so even when you can’t be with us, we’re always with you.
Monthly Potlucks - One of our most attended series! We host a potluck Kiddush following services once a month, bringing the entire community, young and old, together.
Kabbalat Shabbat Services - ACI is dedicated to expanding our Friday night offerings for the 2024 calendar year.
Shabbat Across America - A catered dinner will be held at ACI on Friday, March 1st as Jews across North America break bread at the same time as they welcome Shabbat.
Baking Events - Rugelach, Challah, Hamentaschen, cookies and more.
Purim Carnival - Fun for the whole family!
Movie Nights - Don’t get the winter blues post-Havdalah. Join ACI for movie nights - with dates and films to be announced.
and so many more!
Don’t see an event listed here you’d like for us to program? Our Events Committee is dedicated to expanding our programming offerings and welcomes ideas and volunteers!
Membership not only gives you access to programming at ACI, but also directly helps ensure that we can continue to provide services and programming to the flourishing Jewish Community of Astoria and Western Queens.
We can do so much more with your support.
Memberships for 2026 are $1450 for a Family Membership, and $725 for a Single Membership. If you require financial assistance, we ask you to contact the Membership Committee to make arrangements. ACI is dedicated to ensuring there are no financial barriers to participating in our programming or membership!
